When providing our business development representative and go‑to‑market services, We Build Pipe primarily operates within our clients’ existing technology stack and systems (for example, their CRM, sales engagement tools, marketing automation tools, communication platforms, etc). This means key business data typically remains in our clients’ own environments and under their administrative control.
For clarity, the following categories of data are considered client-controlled data:
CRM records and customer or prospect databases (including contact details, account history, and deal information).
Client intellectual property, including proprietary processes, playbooks, sales scripts, and internal documentation.
Customer‑base information, including customer lists, segmentation, and relationship history.
Billing, invoicing, and payment information related to the client’s own customers, to the extent accessible through the client’s systems.
Unless expressly required by the services and agreed in writing:
We Build Pipe does not export, duplicate, or maintain separate copies of client‑controlled data outside of the client’s systems, except for limited working materials necessary to perform the services (for example, campaign lists or reports) and only for as long as needed.
We do not sell, license, or disclose client‑controlled data to any third party, and we do not use client‑controlled data for any purpose other than performing the services for that specific client.
We treat all client‑controlled data as confidential and subject to any applicable non‑disclosure or services agreements between We Build Pipe and the client. Access to such data is restricted to personnel who need it to perform their duties and is further governed by the permissions set by the client within their own tools.
If you, as a client, request that We Build Pipe store or process copies of your data in our own systems (for example, for reporting or backup), we will do so only as described in the applicable agreement and in alignment with this Privacy Policy, and we will limit retention to what is reasonably necessary for the agreed purpose. Upon termination of services or upon your written request, and subject to legal and contractual obligations, We Build Pipe will delete or return any such client data under our control within a reasonable timeframe.
